Buenos Aires, February 13 (NA) – The cycle of children's and youth orchestras will open its 2026 season at the Palacio Libertad with a proposal that combines a carnival spirit and rock power. The San Telmo Youth School Orchestra will present 'Carnaval toda la orquesta,' a symphonic tribute to Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, featuring over 130 musicians on stage. Under the direction of Clara Ackermann and Ailín Benard, the ensemble — part of the National Program of Children's and Youth Orchestras and Choirs — will reinterpret classics by the historic band led by Vicentico, including 'Vasos vacíos,' 'Vos sabés,' 'Gitana,' 'Mal bicho,' 'Matador,' and 'Calaveras y diablitos.' The show will also feature the participation of the murga La Que Se Viene and special guests such as Yacaré Manso, Abi González, Diana Díaz, Mareco, Luz Merlo, and Catalín Munteanu. As a guest guitarist, Juan Pola will join. The event will be free with limited capacity. Tickets — up to two per person — must be picked up at the box office of the Central Hall of Palacio Libertad from two hours before the start of the performance until the venue's capacity is reached.
